Chogiwa – Gaon Chart just revealed the list of KPop groups with the highest album sales in 2021. Congratulation to NCT dream the highest album sales in the first half of 2021. So, NCT Dream album sales have beat BTS’ album sales in the first half of 2021.
NCT Dream the Highest Album Sales in the First Half 2021
The data is based on the album sales from January to June 2021. According to Gaon Chart, NCT Dream sold 3,390,828 copies. In other words, it makes their sales higher than BTS’ which is 2,403,362 copies.
The Album Sales from the Big Four
Gaon Chart also revealed the album sales from the big four with SM Entertainment is on the top of the list with total 9,238,118 copies. The second place is HYBE that sold 5,862,156 copies. Followed by JYP Entertainment sold 1,546,355 copies and YG Entertainment sold 1,384,044 copies.
BTS as HYBE best-selling artist sold 2,403,362 without any new album. TWICE from JYP Entertainment sold 630,942 copies and Blackpink from YG sold 877,659. Still, the achievement of NCT Dream the highest album sales in the first half of 2021 is great.
NCT Dream’s “Hot Sauce” and “Hello Future”

NCT Dream is the third sub-unit of NCT, a Korean boy group from SM Entertainment. The sub-unit consists of seven members, Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung. They debuted in August 2016 with the hit single “Chewing Gum”. Until today NCT Dream has released four EPs, six singles, and recently a studio album “Hot Sauce”. There are the total ten of new tracks on the album including the title tracks with the same name. Until today, “Hot Sauce” has reached more than 100 million views on YouTube. The album became a hit and surpassed the pre-order record sales of their previous EP Reload. On May 26, NCT Dream officially received the “Double Million Seller” title.
Not only that, in June 28, the group also released the repackage album “Hello Future” with additional three new tracks including the title track with the same title.
