On that day, he officially started his duty as an active soldier and was assigned to report to the 5th Infantry Division training centre in Yeoncheon County of Gyeonggi Province. #1 BTS Jin’s Initially Enlisted in June 2022
On October 17th, BIGHIT MUSIC shared an official statement regarding BTS’s plan for enlistment and Jin will be the one who initiates the process. However, in one interview, Jin stated that “I originally planned to enlist in June”. The reason why he postponed the schedule is due to BTS’s October performance in Busan. He didn’t want a tearful performance due to his absence so he decided to postpone his enlistment to be courteous to fans.
#2 Jin Is the First BTS Member who Enlisted
As mentioned in the official statement shared by BIGHIT MUSIC, Jin as the oldest member of BTS is going to be the one who initiates the process. While other members of BTS will start carrying out a similar plan based on their individual schedules or plan.
#3 BIGHIT MUSIC Specially Requested Army to Not Visiting the Training Centre for Safety Purposes
It is common knowledge that BTS has the biggest fandom. Due to that, BIGHIT MUSIC has specially requested Army to not visit the training centre for safety purposes. However, instead, they are asking fans to keep supporting Jin by sending heart-warming words and farewells during Jin’s enlistment in their heart.
#4 Jin’s New Haircut Is Cuter than Expected
When it comes to an upcoming enlistment day, the bald head of an idol is one of the worth-waiting pictures for fans. Jin even shared a video and photo of himself during the hair-cutting process for fans to enjoy. He also added a caption that stated “Hehehehe it’s cuter than I expected”. It is also interesting to know that the innocent picture that shows how BTS members sent Jin off to enlistment with full support could trigger ‘another’ war between EXO-L and Army.
