Chogiwa – It has been confirmed that IU and Park Seo Joon together in Dream; a highly-anticipated movie released in 2021. Dream brings an unusual theme for a commercial movie in the South Korean movie industry. However, fans are super exciting to wait for this movie.
Synopsis of Dream
A professional football player Yoon Hong Dae (Park Seo Joon) due to some circumstances should receive disciplinary probation. As punishment, he should coach homeless people so they could join the Homeless World Cup.
Those people never been part of any football team or play the game in their life. It was frustrating for the first time. But in the process, Hong Dae started to sincerely coach the team. Slowly but surely, he becomes more confident with his team.
While IU will take the role of an aspiring director named Lee So Min. She always has a dream to be a successful director by directing a documentary movie.
Besides IU and Park Seo Joon together in Dream, there is also Lee Hyun Woo. Dream the movie will become his second project after his discharge from the military.
IU and Park Seo Joon Together in Dream
Dream the movie is going to be IU’s very first movie as a lead actress though it is not her first project. IU is well known to be a talented singer and also an actress.
She debuted as an actress in 2011 when she starred in the drama Dream High as Kim Pil Sook. In that drama, she acted along with some well-known actors and actresses such as Kim So Hyun, Bae Suzy, 2PM’s Taecyeon and Jang Woo Young.
Since then, she is not only well known as a singer but also an actress. Her acting can be seen from several hit dramas she has been part of such as Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, My Mister, and Hotel Del Luna where she acted along with Yeo Jin Goo and the raising star Lee Do Hyun.
Park Seo Joon has been well known as a great actor in several movies and dramas such as the movie Midnight Runner, the drama Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth, Fight for My Way, What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim and the last is Itaewon Class in 2020.
This movie is going to be Park Seo Joon’s project after The Devine Fury in 2019. So, fans are highly anticipating this movie to be a worth-watching one.
Amazing People Behind Dream
The combination of IU and Park Seo Joon together in Dream is enough to drive attention to this movie. However, the line people who are contributing to this movie is also superb such as director Lee Byeong Heon who once succeed with movie Twenty and Extreme Job.
The first part of the filming process has finished in mid of 2020 which took place in South Korea. The next shooting part will take place abroad. The initial plan is going to be in Colombia or Hungary but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there must be some changes of plan.
Both IU and Park Seo Joon are also very excited about this project. They have promised to work optimally for this movie and since it is going to be IU’s very first movie project as lead actress, Uaena will be super excited to support her.
