September is coming and K-Drama lovers must have been anticipating some new and upcoming dramas which are just released recently and later on. While some of you are agonizing over Flower of Evil, there is nothing wrong to prepare some new dramas in your watching list for the next two or three months.
#1. When I Was the Most Beautiful
Ji Soo is well known for his role as second lead man in where he ended losing the lead female to the lead male. However, in this drama he will act as the first male lead, Seo Hwan, an architectural designer. Though in the beginning the plot show the strong relationship between Oh Ye-Ji (Lim Soo-Hyang) and Seo Hwan’s brother, Seo Jin (Ha Seok Jin), fans are expecting the twist at the end.
#2. Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol
Go Aaa will act as a pianist named Go Ra-ra but due to some reasons she went bankrupt and so frustrated with her situation. In a private piano academy, LaLa Land, she met a free-spirited Sun Woo Joon (Lee Jae-Wook). The musical theme with romantic scenes of this drama are so fit with the summer vibes.
Alice is the first Joo Won’s project after he was released from military. One of the most anticipated dramas this year with time traveller theme. Joo Won will act as Park Jin-Gyeom, a cold-hearted detective while Kim Hee-Seon as Yoon Tae-Yi, a genius physicist who holds a key to Alice, a space that allows people to time travelling. Together they are working on revealing the secret of time travel.
#4. Do You Like Brahms?
One more drama with musical theme. The story will take place in one of the prestigious and elite university where genius musical students are studying music. Park Eun-Bin as Chae Song-A, a student who wants to become a violinist dan Kim Min-Jae as Park Joon Young is an elite pianist. Not only that, aside from its unique concept Do You Like Brahms? will be filled with beautiful OST from top singers such as EXO’s Chen, Heize and Taeyeon from Girls’ Generation.
#5. The Zombie Detective
The zombie theme among musical, romance and summer vibe is kind of risky but the charm of Choi Jin-Hyuk as the zombie detective may solve it all. Kim Moo-Young (Choi Jin-Hyuk) has been a zombie for two years and then he moved to a city and start a private detective company. Somehow, Kong Sun-Ji (Park Joo-Hyun) becomes involved and work as part-timer in the detective company. Though the story plot sounds a bit weird, but a lot of fans are looking forward to it.
#6. Record of Youth
The fans of Park Bo-Gum shouldn’t miss this drama because it is going to be his last project before his enlistment to military. Park Bo-Gum as Sa Hye-Joon, is a popular model but his dream is becoming an actor. Along with Park So-Dam who will act as An Jung-Ha, a make-up artist, they will present you with the lives of young people in modelling world.
#7. Private Lives
K-Drama lovers will be fully satisfied with all kinds of genre this year, from musical, zombie detective up to romance. Private Lives offer something even more thrilling because it combines a story of professional swindler and a mysterious corporate leader. Ko Gyung-pyo and Seohyun will take roles as the lead actor and actress.
#8. More Than Friends
For those who are looking for light romance comedy with simple twist, More than Friends will be the best choice. A story of two best friends Lee Soo (Ong Seung-wu) and Kyung Woo-yeon (Shin Ye-eun) who have a crush on each other for the past 10 years.
In October, K-Drama lovers will have Start-Up with Bae Suzy as the female lead. This is the first Suzy’s drama project after Vagabond last year, that’s why it is becoming the highly anticipated drama for this year. The story is about Seo Dal-mi (Bae Suzy) and Nam Do-San (Nam Joo-hyuk) who cheer up each other to start and growth their own business.
#10. Tale of the Nine-Tailed
Tale of the nine-tailed is very popular in Korea. There are some movies and dramas successfully adapt this story and this one is going to be the newest version of the tale with Lee Dong-wook as Lee Yeon. Jo Bo-ah will take role as the female PD who is chasing after the nine-tailed fox.
Well, those are only 10 most anticipated K-Drama which some of them are on going drama. It is not too late for you to start putting them on watching list followed by more upcoming dramas that will accompany you to spend the last four months of your 2020 with all the various genres.
